İskender Zülfikari: A Journey of Inspiration

İskender Zülfikari, the eldest child of businessman father İsfendiyar Zülfikari and lawyer mother Deniz Zülfikari, was guided toward karting after his passion for cars and motorsports was discovered at the age of three. Known for his fearlessness in this field, the 12-year-old driver has achieved remarkable success in tournaments from his earliest races. With the support of his family and coaches, he aims to crown these achievements by working hard to become the first Formula 1 driver selected from Turkey.

İskender shared that he began his beloved karting journey in 2019 when he was 7.5 years old, saying, “My school is close by, and watching these cars all the time sparked my passion. When I got into the car and sat behind the wheel, I knew I’d love this sport. I did a lap on the track, felt really happy, and enjoyed it. After I started achieving success, the team decided to enter me in competitions, and that’s where my career truly began.”
